Templestay at Lotus Heart Temple
What is Templestay?
The Five Mountain Zen Order Templestay at Lotus Heart Zen Temple is a program in which you can experience Western Buddhist tradition through monastic daily life and purify your mind and body. You can put your busy mind down and take a deep breath to look inside yourself iand meet your true nature.
Two programs are available - weekend program and week long program. For the average lay person who find it difficult to match their schedule to organized retreats or can't afford the often exorbitant fees, this program offers the chance for introspection in an environment conducive to living the dharma moment to moment. You will be able to utilize precious time to cultivate wisdom through this program. Find a clear mind with the sound of temple bell and take a break from your busy life and find peace by practicing alone, and with a Buddhist monk and the Lotus Heart Zen sangha.
